Reflection:
Trust is easy when life follows our plan — when prayers are answered quickly and doors swing open at just the right time. But real trust is tested when nothing makes sense. When the waiting feels endless, when the answers are silent, and when you can’t see what God is doing behind the scenes. It’s in those moments that trust becomes more than a word — it becomes worship.
To trust God is to release the need to control the outcome. It means saying, “Lord, I don’t understand, but I still believe You are good.” It’s remembering that His ways are higher than ours, His timing is perfect, and His promises never expire.
Think about Job. Everything was stripped away — health, wealth, and family — yet he declared, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him” (Job 13:15). That kind of trust doesn’t come from comfort; it’s forged in the fire of surrender.
Trusting God doesn’t mean you’ll always feel at peace. It means choosing peace even when feelings fail. It’s choosing faith over fear, obedience over understanding, and hope over despair.
